Dr. Jesus Tafoya M.D. joined Vida Encantada as our Medical Director as of July 2019. Dr. Tafoya was born and raised in Las Vegas, New Mexico and is a graduate of West Las Vegas class of 2003. Upon completing High School, he went on to pursue his higher education at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, completing his residency at Texas Tech University in Lubbock and then returned to Las Vegas, NM to provide medical care for the people of Las Vegas and the surrounding area. Dr. Tafoya is an associate professor at UNM School of Medicine, and the former President of the New Mexico Hispanic Medical Association. His hobbies are Music, big game hunting, and collecting reptiles. Dr. Tafoya is a proud husband and father of four. He joined Vida Encantada family "to provide the best care possible for our residents.”
